Some of you may know this feeling. You get up in the morning, you’re really hungry, but you just don’t feel like making breakfast at all. In most cases you don’t even have as much time as you might like. For such days I have the perfect breakfast for you! Just put a tin of homemade gluten free granola in the oven the night before and you never have to worry about your breakfast again.
In my opinion, the best thing about homemade granola is that you can 100% choose what you want. Nevertheless, here are some small suggestions that you can change according to your taste.
Granola with nuts:
3 cups oat flakes
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup ground nuts
3 tbsp coconut flakes
60 ml coconut oil (melted)
5 tbsp honey
Chocolate granola:
3 cups oat flakes
3 tablespoons sunflower or pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp linseed
2 tbsp cocoa nibs
1/4 tsp salt
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp honey
Granola with cranberries:
3 cups oat flakes
1/2 cup Chia
1 cup cranberries
1 cup raisins
2-5 tbsp honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
How it works:
Bake the gluten free granola in a preheated oven at 120 degrees top/bottom heat for about 30 minutes or depending on the “browning wish”.
Have fun baking and enjoy!
