Currently my favorite recipe on the blog. Gluten free waffles are always a good idea, aren’t they? Topped with berries, peanut butter, chocolate, whatever… They’re just a dream. I usually prep the dough for two few days so I just need to fill it up with a bit of milk the next morning. Or I bake all waffles right ahead and toast them a few hours later, adding this wonderful crunchiness. You need to try this out! This recipe will get you 8 waffles.
You need:
150g butter
25g coconut blossom sugar
4 eggs
300g flour (I use Farine or Mix C by Schär)
a pinch of sea salt
2 tsp baking soda
about 300ml milk
That’s how it works:
- Melt the butter and mix it with sugar and eggs.
- Mix the flour with salt and baking soda and add it to the butter. I always sieve the flour and stir the dough with a whisk. That’s how the dough becomes the fluffiest.
- Then add milk until the dough is viscous.
Enjoy your gluten free waffles with jam, marmalade, honey, chocolate, fruit, cinnamon, powdered sugar or whatever topping you love most!
